Snow Peak

In Japan's Chuetsu region of Niigata Prefecture, Snow Peak(R) makes its home in Sanjo, a city known for its hardware and artisan metal crafting. It was here that mountaineer Yukio Yamai created his own line of climbing gear after he found himself dissatisfied with mountaineering products of the day. After years of producing climbing equipment that lived up to Yukio’s standards, Snow Peak transitioned to creating a wider variety of outdoor gear to reach more people who shared a love for nature and camping. These innovative products, however, never strayed from the company’s initial focus on quality, functionality, timeless-durability and studied design.
